Evaluation, selection and integration of AI-based agents and services (Claude Code, Copilot, MCP servers) to automate development tasks — embedded in existing governance, compliance and security requirements. Building AI-driven validation workflows with MCP servers (Figma API, Azure DevOps) for automated token analysis and PR review. Maintenance and expansion of the in-house design system with 24+ Lit-based web components, focus on accessibility (WCAG).
Three years of product development in the public sector within the Online Access Act (OZG) framework — further development of the central administrative software FisBox: implementation of web forms based on functional specifications, with continuous accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA). Built a complete design system in WPF/XAML with C# and Telerik for WPF — including component library, custom views, SVG icon explorer with search function and documented user journeys. Developed with AI support (Claude Code).
Due to a Magnolia instance that had been poorly maintained by various service providers over the years, a completely new system had to be developed and launched for the relaunch in a very short time.
Supporting the internationally distributed team in the maintenance, expansion, and reconstruction of the frontend for the B2B shop shop.metrology.zeiss.de, based on Intershop Commerce.
Maintenance of the Magnolia CMS for bechtle.com with a focus on performance and speed optimization. Took over lead programming as well as consulting, coaching the team, and establishing best practices. Also helping out with bottlenecks in SAP Hybris eCommerce.
Emergency deployment for a significant increase in performance and speed on basf.com. Development of frontend components in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and training the team in modern CSS architecture ('CSS as a Programming Language').
Working as a Developing Consultant on various Hybris shops (including for mobilcom-debitel.de, Saturn & Media Markt). Development of CMS components for SmartEdit, service and maintenance, as well as mentoring and training in CSS architecture.
Engaged as a Developing Consultant to optimize the usability, development velocity, and CSS architecture of the existing system while preparing for the migration to Hybris 6.
Optimization and expansion of international booking routes for air, sea, and land freight with a focus on responsive design, performance, and usability. Refactoring of CSS/HTML to a generic class system, including training and mentoring in CSS architecture and best practices.
Training the internal team in Hybris (Storefront/JSP/JSTL), enterprise templating, modern CSS architecture, and established best practices for the attempted relaunch of rossmann.de. And some hands-on support with the Magnolia CMS.
As a Frontend Consultant, advised an international team across languages, continents, and cultures, and provided training through 'Leading By Example' to technically stabilize the already launched project and bring it back to project reality.
